The Best Two Years

The 28th of this month is mine and Blakes two year anniversary! I can't believe we've been dating for two years. It really doesn't seem like it's been that long already. I guess it's true when they say Time flies when you're having fun!" We have both grown and changed so much since we met but in alot of ways were still the same. I just got looking through some of the pictures we've taken and thought I would make a little photopage of the two of us. It really has been the best two years and I'm excited to see what the future years will bring! Happy Anniversary Sweetie!

Fall is in the Air

Oh it's been sooo long since I've posted a blog! Things have been pretty darn good lately especially since it's starting to be fall. I Absolutely love fall it's by far my most favorite time of year. I love that it's the begining of the holidays, the smells, the cool weather, the changing leaves, carving pumpkins, the fact that I can wear all my sweaters and scarves ahh geez i just love it all!

Today Blake and I went to Zion to go hiking and it was sooo fun! Neither of us have been hiking for a really long time and never really together so it was a good experience we shared as a couple. We packed a little picnic and left around noone. The drive up was really nice, we drove through Hurricane and LaVerkin so I got to show him some different places and talk about where I grew up. We decided to hike the Emerald pools which is about a one to two hour hike. We took the shuttle up and headed out on the trail. The weather was really good so that made it all that much better. We noticed that we were probably the minority of people that were from Utah but it was fun to hear all of the different accents and languages even though we couldn't understand anything they were saying! I loved how nice the weather was there was just a breeze so it felt almost chilly but not quite. It was fun to get out in nature and spend some quality time with Blake and share a new experience together. I'm excited for everything the future holds and all of the experiences we will share! That's all for now.... I'll really try to update more things have just been so busy lately.

Here are just a few pictures from our day in Zions National Park

What a fun day in the sun!

Yesterday was such a fun day. We decided to go fourwheeling, it was Blake, myself, Lyndsie and Blakes little brother Jacob. It was such a perfect day for riding. The weather was nice it stayed right around 65 degrees the whole day. We went out to Silver Reef and up to Oak Grove then down to Babylon Mills. Blake and Jacob have never been out there before so it was really fun showing them all of the old mines that have been barred up. Lyndsie and I have been out there tons because that's where my dad used to take us all the time. Theres this old Catholic Cemetary out there that was built in the early 1800's. Alot of the headstones say unknown because back then alot of people died in the mines and they would just bury the bodies, because they were burnt up or just unrecognizable. We also saw some cool petroglyphs. It was a really fun day, except for on the way back I got a bee sting. I think that was my first bee sting ever! I hope it's my last too. It hurt so bad. I was driving and i felt a stinging and kind of burning on my neck and it got worse so I stopped and my sister was like "Oh my gosh theres a bee on you!" So after screaming forever we finally got it off but it left it's little stinger in there. Lyndsie pulled it out and it started swelling, But by the time we got home it was pretty much gone. Overall we had a blast. I'm loving this amazing weather I'm not looking forward to the horrible heat however! I'm sure summer will be fun though. I posted just a few pics. of our day below.

Needles and more needles!

So I went to the doctor today and I had to get not one... not two.... not even ten.... but fifteen trigger injection shots today. I have been having headaches for years, and they aren't just headaches, they are a constant pain, that has been causing me complete frustration. For the past couple weeks I've been having about two a day! I have gone through months of chiropractic therapy, physical therapy, pain meds, I've had CT scans and even been admitted into the ER, I just can't get them to stop! So my family doctor referred me to a spine and rehab specialist. He thought trigger injections would be a different route and hopefully a stop to the Madness! So I went in pretty nervous however he prescribed me some medicine to take prior to the procedure to calm my nerves, because I'm not a big fan of any kind of needle! Anyways, I went in there thinking maybe five or six shots would surely do it, but oh did I have another thing coming! 15!!! I had four shots in my head, five on the right side of my upper right shoulder, four on my upper left shoulder and two at the base of my neck. It was so painful! I didn't cry while he was putting them in, but the second he left the room the tears came. I came home and put a heating pad on and that helped a little, he said it would take a couple days for the Cortizone to kick in so we will see, hopefully this will be a success I am so sick of my head hurting! On a lighter note, I decided to start a dental assisting program. It takes three weeks and I will get my X-ray certification. I'm hoping that I can work in a dentists office during the summer and when school starts I'm hoping to work mornings and early afternoons so I can still take classes at the college in the evening. I'm really excited to start the class! I think it will be something new and different from the jobs I've had before. It will also really give me some insite to see if dentistry is what I really want to go into. So We will see how everything goes!

Little Cowboy

We've had my nephews at our house alot lately and they are so funny! Weston is so into his cowboy boots and cowboy hat we had to go to the doctor the other day and he insisted on wearing both to the doctor! It was cute. He is talking so much and he is really starting to understand what were talking about which is fun because he carries on conversations now. Wyatt is kind of in his terrible twos, he does whatever you tell him not to do and he always asks why? to everything we say. They are quite a handful but really fun to have over. Here are a few pictures of them
